11th June 2021 – Crondon Park June 22, 2021 – Posted in: Results-2021
Perfect weather for golf at last!
The course was in excellent condition but as always proved very difficult, as the scores will show!
Results
Chris Cook ran out as the winner with 33 points
Glenn came in with 31 points but as this was his debut he was not included in the prizes, and so Runner Up spot went to Danny with 30 points. Glenn and Danny will both be cut 5% for their efforts. Welcome to the Society Glenn!
Next up were me and Dusty with 27 points. Everyone else scored 25 points or less, with over half the field getting shots back! That’s how tough Crondon is playing at the moment!
Nearest to the Pin on the 4th went to Danny
Nearest to the Pin in 2 on the 15th was won by Dusty
The Par 3 King was drawn on 10 points between Chris, Glenn & Dusty. Chris edged it on countback
The Team Competition was won by the 4 ball of Danny, Dusty, Lester & Glenn with 81 points
Player of the Year
Two rounds in and still too early to make sense so I will publish the leader board after our next Golf Day
Next Golf day
Our next golf day is just 3 weeks away on Friday July 23rd July at the Thorndon Park. This one is bound to be popular and so please let me know asap if you want to come along as we only have 24 spaces. I will of course send a reminder out closer to the event
